Meet the Team
Sally Nicholls MSc (Hons) Agric
Sally worked as a farm consultant for over 10 years before she decided to establish her own brand. She has a first class honours degree in agricultural management from Harper Adams and spent a year travelling and working on large sheep stations in Australia. She sits on the Board for the Devon Federation of Young Farmers Clubs and regularly judges their speaking competitions.
Sally’s favourite job on the farm is lambing, while outside of work she loves good pub food and pottering in the garden.
Jane grew up on a suckler beef farm before marrying a dairy farmer. Today Jane, her husband and their son and daughter all work in the family business, milking 180 Jerseys and farming 400 acres. As well as a qualified bookkeeper, she’s a champion of rural communities and regularly helps to organise fundraising and social events as one of the trustees of her local village hall.
Jane loves milking, buying local produce and is partial to a good long walk.
Rebecca, or Becky as her clients know her, has always loved animals and office work. She spent 27 years as a veterinary nurse and animal health lecturer before returning to her family dairy and arable farm. She and her husband took on full farm management in 2014, growing it to the 400-acre operation it is today.
Becky loves her high-yielding Holsteins (although she’s also a fan of a Holstein x Brown Swiss) and takes a ‘cream before jam’ position in the Great South West Scone Debate.
Helen graduated from Reading university with a First-Class Honours Degree in Agriculture and after showing New Zealand how Sheep should be farmed she returned home to take up a partnership in her family’s mixed beef, sheep and arable farm as well as ably assist Sally in all things consultancy.
Helen does manage to find some spare time, and when she is not sporting she is busy with Devon YFC
Hanna graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Economics
Prior to joining RSJ she worked in accounts all through college and uni so there isn’t much she doesn’t know about a set of accounts!
Hanna and her partner live on her Partner’s beef and sheep farm and have a young daughter.
Fiona has studied a diploma in Accountancy and Business, CMI Management and Leadership and is also AAT Qualified.
Fiona grew up on a local dairy and beef farm and is now in partnership with her husband farming Game, Poultry and Sheep where they keep 300 sheep and rear over 250,000 birds per year.
Outside of the office she is a committed mother to their two young daughters and enjoys exploring our beautiful countryside, gardening and hitting the gym. The most important thing to know about Fiona is that she likes to dabble in gin making and, of course, the taste testing is her favourite bit!
